Anyone who is schoolin/working in Akwa Ibom and living in Calabar will surely know the poor state of the federal road popularly called Calabar-Itu Highway!!!
sadly it is a federal road and neither gfovernment can fix it.for tourism sake we hear the Akwa Ibom Government has appealed to the Federal Government for immediate intervention to arrest erosion threatening to cut off the road permanently

The state governor, Udom Emmanuel, made the appeal on Tuesday
one of the many federal highway roads built by the military in the 70s
but i hear you can get the best fish and hot drinks on the way!!! lolzzzz
