Esther Eshiet Met the Queen Of England At 2015 Queen’s Young Leaders Awards
The Queen’s Young Leader Award celebrates exceptional people aged 18-29 from across the Commonwealth countries, who are taking the lead in their communities and using their skills to transform lives. Winners of this prestigious Award were honored by the Queen of England at a ceremony on Monday, June 22, 2015.
Esther Eshiet from Cross River, is a social worker and Founder of the Afterschool Peer Mentoring Project, which aims to provide young people with the skills to gain employment during the transition between school and work. She is on the Advisory Panel that selected the Queen’s Young Leaders.
