THE UNIVERSITY OF UYO FIRE

The university of Uyo witnessed another mishap saturday, june 13 when fire gutted the W1 female hostel in the main campus of the school destroying properties worth millions.

Sources present said It started from a room and spread to two other rooms before it could be contained by man-o-war and fire service. some persons say a heater which was left unattended to ignited the fire.This is coming after the school had experienced a similar situation two years ago still in a female hostel. We thank God no life was lost.
